About Sundar

Our son, Sundar, was born in Salem, Tamil Nadu, and spent his early childhood in Mumbai before moving to the United States during his teenage years. Having grown up across different regions and cultures, he is adaptable, grounded, and respectful of values.

He completed his middle school education in New York, high school in Virginia, and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). With a strong commitment to professional growth, he has acquired 15+ industry-recognized IT certifications and continues to pursue additional certifications to enhance his expertise.

Sundar is currently employed as a Product Owner / IT Manager (Full-Time Employee) at Navy Federal Credit Union, Vienna, Virginia. He is a U.S. Citizen.

By nature, Sundar is calm, composed, hardworking, and well-balanced in his outlook. He leads a disciplined lifestyle, has never smoked or consumed alcohol, and places high importance on health and fitness. He regularly works out at the gym and enjoys playing golf and tennis. He is well respected in his organization for his professionalism and integrity.

About Our Family

We are a close-knit nuclear family of four, well educated and financially stable, and have been residing in the USA for over 18+ years, currently settled in Virginia.

Father holds a Master’s degree in Computers and works as an IT Program Manager with a U.S. Federal Government organization. He has worked internationally across the Middle East, Europe, and the USA since 1997 and is presently on a short career break.

Mother holds a Bachelor of Science degree and is a homemaker.

Younger daughter has completed her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, is working as a Data Engineer with a multinational company in Washington, D.C., and is also pursuing her Master’s degree in AI/ML.

All four family members are U.S. Citizens. We are fluent in English, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Marathi, and primarily speak English, Tamil, and Telugu at home. We are a vegetarian family, though Sundar occasionally consumes non-vegetarian food.

We belong to the Chettiyar (Padmasaliyar) community; however, caste is no bar.
