Sundar was born in Salem, Tamil Nadu, and spent part of his childhood in Mumbai before moving to the United States in 2007. Growing up in both India and the U.S. has given him a balanced outlook on life, combining strong cultural values and family traditions with a modern and progressive mindset.
He completed his schooling in New York and Virginia before earning his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Passionate about technology and continuous learning, Sundar has earned over 15 industry-recognized IT certifications and he strongly believes in skill-based, career-oriented education that emphasizes practical knowledge and continuous professional growth over conventional academic degree/credentials.
Sundar currently works as a Product Owner / IT Manager at Navy Federal Credit Union in Vienna, Virginia, and is a U.S. Citizen. He is well regarded professionally for his leadership, strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and collaborative nature.
By nature, Sundar is calm, thoughtful, ambitious, disciplined, and grounded. Although career-focused and motivated, he equally values family relationships, emotional well-being, and meaningful connections. He maintains a healthy lifestyle, does not smoke or drink, and enjoys regular workouts, golf, and tennis.

About Our Family
We are a well-educated, close-knit, and culturally rooted South Indian family settled in Virginia, USA, for over 20 years. While we are well integrated into life in the United States, we continue to cherish Indian traditions, values, and strong family bonds while maintaining a modern outlook.
Father holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and works as an IT Program Manager with a U.S. Federal Government organization.
Mother holds a Bachelor of Science degree and is a homemaker who has created a warm, caring, and supportive home environment.
Younger daughter holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and currently works as a Data Engineer in Washington, D.C.
We are a multilingual family fluent in English, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Marathi, with English, Tamil, and Telugu primarily spoken at home. We are a vegetarian family, though Sundar occasionally enjoys non-vegetarian cuisine.
We belong to the Chettiyar (Padmasaliyar) community; however, caste is no bar for us. We are financially well-settled in the USA and lead a stable, secure, and comfortable lifestyle.
